Updated Policies for 2026
New pricing (effective May 1, 2026): Updated rates start at the listed pricing, and dogs requiring intensive care or additional support may be subject to increased pricing.
New office hours: Office hours for returning calls, texts, and emails are Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Daily updates policy: You will receive at least one daily update on how your dog is settling in, with additional photos or videos shared as time allows.
Pick-up and drop-off times: Drop-offs and pick-ups are available from 7:00–10:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM, with half-day fees possibly applying based on timing.
Required Welcome Packet review: All clients must review the Welcome Packet, including updated contracts and policies, before booking, and booking confirms agreement.

At Libby’s Dog Boarding, nestled in the heart of Kitsap County, I treat every dog like family. With 30 years of experience caring for rescue dogs, puppies, seniors, and those with special needs, I provide in-home boarding where your pup will feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m home full-time, so your dog will never be left alone and will always get the attention they deserve.
I keep my care personal and focused by limiting it to 5–8 dogs at a time, ensuring a safe and social environment for all. Whether it’s wagging tails in the yard or snuggles on the couch, I specialize in creating a loving home-away-from-home for your furry friend!

Hi, I’m Libby!
With over 30 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my life to caring for pets, including rescue dogs, puppies, seniors, and those with special needs. I started my pet care journey in Maine and later ran a home-style boarding and daycare. Caring for animals is my passion, and I’ve even volunteered at shelters and participated in a Wildlife Conservation Program in South Africa.
As a full-time pet care provider, I’m home all day to ensure your dog gets constant attention and care. I only take 5–7 dogs at a time, providing a safe and loving environment where your pet will never be left alone. With a fenced yard and round-the-clock supervision, your dog’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities!
Pricing Starting at $75 a night*
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, friendly with other dogs, and have no history of aggression.

Overnight Boarding: $75*
Extra Dog (same family): $65*
Day Care (Full Day, pickup by 6 PM): $50
*Boarding rates may vary based on level of care; additional fees may apply for senior dogs or those with medical needs.

WOW Elizabeth was absolutely fabulous...second to no one! We left our 2, very spoiled old dogs in her care and she went above and beyond. One of our dogs cannot do stairs SO Elizabeth made certain she did not go up a single step. Elizabeth even washed their coats and beds! I could not recommend her enough, she is the absolute best ever!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH ELIZABETH!!!

Elizabeth did a super job with our dog, Emma! She put eye medicine in Emma’s eyes, gave her water thro a syringe (because Emma has throat issues) and managed Emma’s special dietary needs without any problems. We really appreciated Elizabeth’s excellent communication skills. She always kept us informed as to Emma’s status so we never once worried about her.

Libby is a fabulous “Mommy” for fur babies. She provides a wonderful “home” environment where our “kids” are treated like they are at home while staying with her....One of our dogs is 14 with medical needs and a problem with eating She made sure he got his medications, and tried a variety of things to make sure he would eat. It made our trip a lot better knowing our “babies” were in the best of hands. I highly recommend Libby.

Libby was great the pups! They were comfortable in her house and enjoyed the fenced yard. She went the extra mile, sleeping with them on the couch!
